For a graduate school project, I designed a special event invitation for the American Recorder Society's 75th Anniversary Gala and Concert. The American recorder Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to amateur and professional recorder players. The invitation includes special finishes such as complex dies and folds. For this design, I was inspired by early music and Baroque music stands. These wooden stands had intricate designs and carvings, which I used as the dies for the invitation. The invitation is presented in a bellyband and once removed, card rolls into a standing card. The event information is included on a separate card that can sit on the stand. On the backside of the card is an excerpt of a recorder concerto with a QR code that can be scanned for the full selection.
invitation must contain at least 3 folds, meet USPS First Class standards, appropriately sized envelope, include RSVP and RSVP envelope, digital files completed with appropriate indicators ,layers, file types, color mode, resolution.
