Bikeworks Cycling Charity App

Project Description

Bikeworks is a conceptual charity cycling app that turns your cycling miles into cash charitable donations. During your ride, Bikeworks uses the user's GPS to calculate your distance, or the app can connect to your bike computer. Like the best bike computers, Bikeworks tracks your speed, distance, cadence, and elevation during your ride. When your workout is complete, the app totals your mileage and for every ten miles ridden, the user earns $1 in donations. Donations are made by corporate sponsors and proceeds are given to a charity of choice or the user can create a personal campaign for their upcoming fundraiser races.
