AIRhub Mobile Application

Project Description

I attended a hackathon, #HackthebanDC, where a group of designers, developers, and creatives came together to find ways to enrich the lives of our immigrants or the immigration process. For twenty four hours, my group worked with a member of the Cameroon American Council on a mobile website that would help increase the visibility of resources available to the African immigrant in Washington DC. These resources and services that are particularly sensitive to the cultural and religious needs of the African Immigrant.

In sketch I designed a mobile website that used a color coded iconography system to filter and display services based on four categories. Once a category was chosen, the results would display as markers on a map using a Google API and in a list view.
